A great house to enjoy a secluded getaway close to the redwoods. Pizza place down the hill was also excellent!

Shelter cove is well off the “beaten path” but we liked it. The house seemed recently redone. There’s a visible sleeping bag setup on an “off limits” loft, which was fine but a little off putting initially. The showers have windows (without frost or shades) same with the bedroom. The house backs up to a hill so I’m sure it’s fine but still a little off putting since there are other houses.We loved our stay and were especially happy with the price and it being a last minute change for us.

Loved my time here! Host did a wonderful job preparing a welcome binder with explanations on household gadgets and such. The view was breathtaking and the bed was very comfortable. Place was conveniently located.
